Warner Community Agricultural Project Committee 

(WCAPC)

The Village of Warner is seeking individuals from the Village of Warner or the County of Warner No. 5 in the recreation grant district for the Village of Warner. Applicants must be a resident, business owner, or teacher (of Horizon School Division - Warner School) in the Village of Warner or County No. 5 recreation grant district for the Village of Warner to join the Warner Community Agriculture Project Committee. This committee will play a vital role in recommending grant applications from local organizations and awarding a scholarship for Warner School students.

What Does the Committee Do?

The committee will review and recommend:

• Grant applications from local organizations within the community.
• A scholarship for Warner School students.
• Criteria for how grant funds will be allocated, including the amount awarded and the process for selecting recipients.
• Deadlines for applications and awarding funds.

These funds are generated from the crop land owned by the Village of Warner, located near the lagoons.

Who Can Apply?                                                                                                                                                                                                        We are looking for community-minded individuals who are passionate about supporting the local area. You do not need any farming or agriculture knowledge to serve on this committee—just a desire to contribute to the betterment of the community.

Committee Meetings:                                                                                                                                                                                              The committee will meet annually at the Village of Warner council chambers to review applications and make recommendations.
