In late 2023 the Village of Warner Council decided to try a fundraising project with the approximate 50 acres of farmland surrounding our lagoon. In previous years, this land has been rented on 5-year terms to local farmers with the Village collecting cash rent on it. Over the next two years, with the co-operation, and donation of equipment, man hours and products, the land will be farmed and harvested and the profits will remain with in the local community. No project has been set for the potential raised funds yet, but in the coming months ideas and new projects can be brought forward to Village Council. Huge thank you to everyone involved so far and the future help and donations.
